Remo D’Souza is one of the most well-known choreographers in Bollywood. Born on 2nd April 1974, he did his schooling in Jamnagar, Gujarat. He did not receive any formal training in dance and is self-trained with the help of movies and music videos. After completing his higher secondary studies, Remo D’Souza moved to Mumbai in order to fulfil his dance dreams. It was a long struggle and he started by opening a dance institute known as “Super Brats”. Later, with the help of three friends, they opened two branches of the institute. Beginning with only a handful of students, the number of students increased slowly. His team participated and won first place in a national dance competition that brought him to the limelight. After this, Remo auditioned and got selected in Ahmed Khan’s “Rangeela” for his dance skills Remo D’Souza has acted in films such as “Rangeela”, “Aflatoon”, “Pardes” and has also served as a judge in many dance competition shows on TV. He is also a song director and a film director.
. In the Asian Film Festival of 2007, he won the award for being the Best director for ‘LalPahar’r Katha’. He has also won the Technical Award for the choreography for the song “Meherbaan” which was featured in the movie “Tehzeeb” in 2003.
